What a wonderful day out. We were a small group so went by car with our friendly and excellent driver/guide, Deep. The wine tastings and lunch were great, and I thoroughly enjoyed the drive through the hills.

OMG Deep our Guide was amazing so much information about the Region .. the Cellar doors visited .. were wines we have never tried Before and of Course Purchased a few bottles .. Kersbrook Hills we had the Amazing Sharna... started our day with so many different wines and flavours .. Onto Keis Family wine for lunch and wine ... beautiful winery and then on to see Maggie Beers Farm shop .. the day was just magical Deep made every stop special highly recommend Then we stopped at Chateau Dorrien for some Mead and then last stop Chateau Tanunda what a beautiful way to Celebrate our Anniversary Thank you Deep .. We had a fantastic group of people on our trip which made the whole experience really fun. Kersbrook Hill was (in my opinion) the best of all the stops and owner Paul was very engaging. Lunch at Kies Family wines was delicious and they were very generous with us. Briefly stopping in at Maggie Beer’s farm for 20 mins was the right amount of time, Chateau Tanunda had nice wines and shared different options for people’s taste preferences, plus we made it to the chocolate shop, which was a really nice end to the day. I thought Chateau Dorrien was not this right fit for a Barossa day trip, being mostly sweet wines, ports and mead, and would have loved to have stopped at another more red-dominant winery that was befitting of the region. But all in all, it was a fantastic trip and Deep our driver took good care of us.
