Barossa Valley: Pheasant Farm Wine Tasting Experience

About This Experience
The cheapest Barossa wine experience on this site, and a genuinely useful one if you are driving yourself or already in the valley: a guided 30-minute tasting through the Pheasant Farm Wines range at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop in Nuriootpa.
Pheasant Farm is Maggie and Colin Beer's own label. Colin has been growing Barossa fruit for more than forty years, and the range runs to the varieties the valley is known for — Shiraz and Cabernet among them. A host takes you through the wines and the story behind each, which is a more structured half-hour than the free pour-and-go you get at a busy cellar-door counter.
Afterwards you are free to spend as long as you like in the Farm Shop itself, which is one of the region's best-known food stops. Book it as a fixed point in a self-drive day, or as an add-on if you are staying in the valley and want a proper tasting without committing to a full tour.

Yes — that is exactly who it suits. It is the cheapest structured tasting in the valley and it gives a self-drive day one fixed, guided appointment. Just remember South Australia's limit is 0.05 on a full licence and zero on a learner or provisional one, so somebody has to abstain.
