The day opens at Chateau Yaldara, a stone estate on the North Para River dating to 1847 and one of the most photographed buildings in the Barossa. From there the coach runs the Avenue of Palms into Seppeltsfield, where the Centennial Cellar holds an unbroken line of single-vintage fortified wine going back to 1878 — a barrel laid down every year since, each one bottled only after a hundred years in oak. Seppeltsfield is also an artisan village now, with the JamFactory glass and ceramics studio, Vasse Virgin and a specialty coffee roaster on site.

After Tanunda, the day includes a stop at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company and, on the days it is open, Barossa Browns for doughnuts. Lambert Estate is used as a replacement stop when a scheduled winery is unavailable, so you still get four tastings. Lunch is a gourmet vineyard meal with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, and bottled water is provided all day.
